UCC Philosophical Society Munster Schools Debate
Two Transition year students Aisha and Ciara represented BCS in the first round of the UCC Philosophical Society Munster Schools Debate last night. They both performed exceptionally well, opposing the motion that "Ireland's great famine was a genocide" and will take part in the second round in the coming weeks.
5th Year Gym Module.
Eoin Galvin (owner of Fit to the Point Gym Ballincollig) is running a six week “Gym Education,” module with 5th years.

U14 Hurling
Congratulations to our U14 footballers who defeated CSN Bishopstown on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-9 in the Cork Colleges yesterday. A huge thanks to our coaches Mr. Jennings & Mr. C. O'Sullivan.
Ladies Senior Football
Our Senior Ladies Football team played their quarter final this week in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. The girls played a great game against Ursuline Secondary School, Blackrock, but unfortunately fell short of progressing into the semi final. Well done to the girls who had a great year of football and a huge thanks to their trainer Ms. N. Lordan.
